The Odyssey :: March 15th

The Center for the Visual & Performing Arts is presenting Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey. This children's classic literature stage play was written by renown archaeologist Dr. Gary Stickle who was the inspiration for movie character Indiana Jones. Using authentic costumes and Greek art, this play follows the adventures of King Odysseus and his crew after the Trojan Wars as they try to return home while being waylayed by the cylops, sirens and other mythical characters. Cici Lau is producer and director.

Date: Saturday, March 15, 2008 - 4pm

Location: 1850 Hellman Ave, Alhambra, CA 91803 (near Fremont Ave) in the Fellowship Hall of Sage Granada Park United Methodist Church

Refreshments: Starbucks coffee and Amy's Famous Baklava

Admission Donation: $10.adults and $5.children
