The black and white formal affair will feature an elegant “Coconut Grove Night Club” theme: red carpets, big band orchestra, gourmet food, and, of course, dancing. Highlights of the evening will include a short film presentation and silent auction of outstanding items. “Unity in Community” – there is no better phrase to describe what the Saint Nicholas Community Center represents for the residents of Los Angeles.

St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena is celebrating their Greek Fest the weekend of September 18 – 20, 2009. Every year, thousands of people attend the much anticipated Greek festival, which includes live music, dancing, delicious food, arts and crafts booths and a raffle with fantastic prizes.

The event, which serves as the church’s annual fundraiser, will be held at St. Anthony, located at 778 S. Rosemead Blvd. in Pasadena. Admission is only $3.00 for adults and children 12 and under are free. It’s a wonderful and affordable weekend of fun activities for the whole family and a chance to bring the entire multi-cultural community of Pasadena together to celebrate…not just the Greek community.
